Marquee Hire
In additon to the many weddings and corporate work we undertake we also
support many festivals, trade shows, galas and private events.
The marquees we supply come in a variety of spans (widths). Ranging from 6m wide to 15m wide. The length of the
marquee is determined by the number of bays each bay being 3m in length. E.g. 6m x 3m, 6m x 6m, 6m x 9m, 6m x 12m
etc for 9m spans the sizes would be 9m x 3m, 9m x 6m, 9m x 9m, 9m x 12m etc.
All our marquees are manufactured by Roder HTS who we believe supply the best marquee structures in the business.
The Marquees are rated to a wind speed of 50mph and are fire retardent to the latest Britsh Saftey Standards.
FAQ
Can you come and visit my site and tell me if a marquee
is suitable?
For small marquees on grass we usually ask the client to measure the site,
if the combined order for the marquee and any other equipment is to total £500 or more inc VAT we will come
and measure and assess the site free of charge. For orders less than £500 we will do our best to assess the
site when we are next in the area, if we are unable to assess the site we will undertake all risk assessments and
inform you or any issues on arrival.
Can you put up a marquee on hard standing areas
such as concrete or tarmac?
Yes we can. However we do need to drill the
site to ensure secure anchoring of the marquee, this will usually leave small holes, approx 25mm in diameter. If
we cannot drill the site then you would need obtain a relevenat number of bulk bags to act as ballast, please consider
that the site needs suitable access for a hiab wagon to deliver and position these.
What access do you require?
Again this depends on the job in hand, 6m
& 9m span marquees with no flooring or furniture can usually be done on an extra-long wheel base transit sized
van. However in many cases with additional furniture etc we usually use a 7.5 Ton Curtain Side wagon with a 21ft
Body. (These vehicles require a gatehole access width of a minium 8ft.
How long does it take?
Again it varys on the size of the marquee, but a small 9m or 6m marquee only will usually take 5-6 hours with a
team of 3 people.
What size marquee do i need?
Again this all depends on the event, if your
planning a wedding, birthday party or other similar event that will require catering please use our size calculator. For all other events please give us a call and
